Description
Hornbills are large, distinctive birds known for their unique bills and casques. Although they are more commonly found in forests and rural areas, these intelligent birds have been observed adapting to city life. Hornbills have become a common sight in Phnom Penh in recent years, particularly in the Daun Penh district. All three species of Cambodian hornbills are frequently seen in a single flock. The artwork on this card is inspired by the style of well-known Modernist wildlife artist Charley Harper and depicts, from left to right, Great Hornbill, Wreathed Hornbill (male), Wreathed Hornbill (female), and Oriental Pied Hornbill.
