Monks in Cambodia are revered for their dedication to the Buddhist path and their contributions to the spiritual and social well-being of the community. As part of their daily routine, monks leave the temples where they reside in the early morning to collect food and other offerings from the community. In return, the monks chant prayers and bless the people who give the alms.
