Description
Referencing the famous ‘The Scream’ by Edvard Munch, this artwork depicts a statue along a naga bridge outside one of the five gates to the ancient ruins of Angkor Thom discovering to its horror that the statue in front of him no longer has a head. The tongue-in-cheek tone of the artwork expresses a serious concern – the constant threat of vandalism and looting of the world heritage site of Angkor.
