The ronin rat WHISKERS has partnered up with the wanted kitten burglar MANEKI to look for the long-lost treasure of the First Emperor SHIKA YAMATO.

They are captured by the bandit queen NOGITSUNE who wants Whiskers dead. Years ago, Whiskers has won her heart, only to run away on their wedding night. Whiskers convinces Nogitsune to spare him by promising to take her to the treasure, but escapes with Maneki after leading her army into a trap.

The duo find the treasure cave only to discover that the treasure is not what they think it is. It is Shika’s fabled broken sword, and now the deadly bat samurai KOUMORI has arrived to claim it for his master!
